Scope of the GTC
The content of the contract between us is determined by these General Terms and Conditions (GTC), together with the applicable mandatory legal provisions. Accordingly, these GTC set out the rights and obligations of you and us, the conditions for the formation of the contract, performance deadlines, delivery and payment terms, liability rules and the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal.
Technical information required for the use of the Website that is not contained in these GTC is provided by other information available on the Website.
Language and form of the contract
The language of contracts falling under these GTC is Hungarian. This English text is a translation provided for convenience.
Contracts falling under these GTC qualify as written contracts and are filed by the Seller.
3. Prices
Prices are stated in Hungarian forints (HUF) and include 27% VAT. Prices can also be displayed in other currencies (EUR, RON, USD); these are converted from the HUF price at the current mid-market exchange rate of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Hungarian National Bank), and the order and the payment are made in the selected currency. The Seller may modify its prices for business policy reasons; price modifications do not affect contracts already concluded. If the Seller has displayed an incorrect price and an order has been received for the Goods but no contract has yet been concluded, the Seller proceeds in accordance with the section "Procedure in case of incorrect price".
Procedure in case of incorrect price
The following are deemed obviously incorrect prices:
- a price of HUF 0;
- a discounted price that does not correspond to the correct discount percentage displayed next to the correct original price (for example, Goods priced at HUF 1,000 with a 20% discount shown, offered incorrectly at HUF 500 instead of the correct HUF 800).
If an incorrect price has been displayed, the Seller offers the Buyer the opportunity to purchase the Goods at the correct price. With this information the Buyer may decide whether or not to order the Goods at the correct price. If the Buyer does not make use of this opportunity, no contract is concluded between the Parties.
4. Complaints handling and enforcement of rights
The consumer may submit warranty, product warranty or guarantee claims relating to the Goods, as well as consumer complaints under the Consumer Protection Act (objections seeking the remedy of an individual infringement of rights or interests arising from the conduct, activity or omission of the Seller, or of a person acting on behalf of or for the benefit of the Seller, in direct connection with the distribution or sale of goods to consumers), in the following ways:
- In person, orally: 7773 Villány, Szent István utca 35.
- In writing via the website: https://www.bi-bor.hu
- In writing by e-mail: info@bi-bor.hu
- In writing by post: 7773 Villány, Szent István utca 35., Hungary

| Monday to Friday | 7:30–12:00 and 12:30–16:30 |
| Saturday | 8:00–12:00 |

The Seller handles warranty, product warranty and guarantee claims not under the complaint-handling rules of the Consumer Protection Act but under the separate legislation applicable to such claims.
The Seller examines oral complaints immediately and remedies them as necessary. If the consumer does not agree with the handling of the complaint, or an immediate investigation is not possible, the Seller promptly draws up a record of the complaint and of its position. For complaints made orally in person, a copy of the record is handed to the consumer on the spot; for complaints made by telephone or other electronic communication service, the copy is sent to the consumer together with the substantive reply no later than 30 days, in accordance with the rules applicable to written complaints. The record contains: the consumer's name, address or e-mail address; the place, time and manner of submitting the complaint; a detailed description of the complaint and a list of documents and evidence presented; the Seller's position on the complaint if an immediate investigation is possible; the signature of the person drawing up the record and (except for complaints made by telephone or electronic communication) of the consumer; the place and time of the record; for complaints made by telephone or electronic communication, the unique identification number of the complaint; and a warning that if the consumer does not provide the required personal data or refuses to sign the record, the Seller is not obliged to apply the rules on replying to written complaints.
The Seller replies to written complaints in writing, on the merits and in a verifiable manner within 30 days of receipt, unless a directly applicable EU act provides otherwise. If the Seller rejects the complaint, it must give reasons and inform the consumer in writing which authority or conciliation board the consumer may turn to, including that body's seat, telephone and internet contact details and postal address, and whether the Seller has made a general submission declaration.
If the Seller provides an electronic form for submitting written complaints, it confirms receipt of the complaint without delay to the e-mail address provided by the consumer.
The Seller retains the record of oral complaints, written complaints and copies of its replies for three years and presents them to the supervisory authority upon request.
If a consumer dispute between the Seller and the consumer is not settled through negotiation, the following avenues are open to the consumer:
Consumer protection authority proceedings
If the consumer perceives an infringement of his or her consumer rights, he or she may lodge a complaint with the consumer protection authority competent for his or her place of residence. After assessing the complaint, the authority decides whether to initiate proceedings. First-instance consumer protection tasks are performed by the Budapest and county government offices (kormányhivatal) competent for the consumer's place of residence. For the Seller's seat the competent authority is:
Baranya Vármegyei Kormányhivatal, Fogyasztóvédelmi Osztály (Baranya County Government Office, Consumer Protection Department) · 7623 Pécs, József Attila u. 10., Hungary · https://kormanyhivatalok.hu
Contact details of all county government offices are available at https://kormanyhivatalok.hu.
Court proceedings
The customer is entitled to enforce claims arising from a consumer dispute before the courts in civil proceedings, in accordance with Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code and Act CXXX of 2016 on the Code of Civil Procedure.
Conciliation board proceedings
If we reject your consumer complaint, you are entitled to turn to the conciliation board (békéltető testület) competent for your place of residence or stay, or to the conciliation board designated in your application. A precondition for initiating conciliation proceedings is that the consumer has attempted to settle the dispute directly with the Seller.
Unless the consumer requests a personal hearing, the conciliation board holds the hearing online, by electronic means providing simultaneous audio and video transmission.
The Seller has a duty to cooperate in conciliation proceedings and must send its reply to the board within the deadline set by the board. The Seller must ensure the participation of a person authorised to reach a settlement at the hearing; at an online hearing this representative must participate online, and if the consumer requests a personal hearing, the representative must participate at least online.
The Seller has not made a general submission declaration to any conciliation board.
Further information on conciliation boards is available at https://bekeltetes.hu. The board competent for the Seller's seat is:
Baranya Megyei Békéltető Testület (Baranya County Conciliation Board) · Seat: Pécs · Competence: Baranya, Somogy and Tolna counties · Address: 7625 Pécs, Majorossy I. u. 36., Hungary · Telephone: +36 72 507 154 · E-mail: info@baranyabekeltetes.hu · Website: baranyabekeltetes.hu
Consumers resident in other EU Member States may contact the European Consumer Centre of their country of residence for assistance in cross-border disputes.
5. General provisions
Partial invalidity, code of conduct
If any provision of these GTC is legally incomplete or ineffective, the remaining provisions of the contract remain in force, and the applicable legal provisions apply in place of the ineffective or defective part.
The Seller does not have a code of conduct within the meaning of the Act on the prohibition of unfair commercial practices against consumers.
Information on the essential characteristics of the Goods
Information on the essential characteristics of the Goods available for purchase is provided in the descriptions shown for each product on the Website.
Correction of data entry errors – responsibility for the accuracy of data provided
During the ordering process, before finalising the order, you may continuously modify the data you have entered (clicking the back button in the browser opens the previous page, so data can be corrected even after you have moved to the next page). Please note that it is your responsibility to enter your data accurately, as the Goods are invoiced and delivered on the basis of the data you provide. An incorrectly entered e-mail address or a full mailbox may prevent delivery of the confirmation and the formation of the contract. If you have finalised your order and discover an error in the data provided, you must request a modification of the order as soon as possible, by e-mail from the address used when ordering or by telephone.
Use of the website
Purchasing is not subject to registration.
The Website provides product presentation and online ordering for users. Users can browse using the menu items. The Goods are arranged in a category system. The "Promotions" category contains all discounted Goods; for each item the start and end date of the promotion, or the start date and the indication "while stocks last", is shown. The "Buy more, pay less" menu lists Goods for which a quantity discount is granted when several pieces are ordered. The "New products" menu shows Goods newly added to the range. Clicking on a category name displays the list of Goods in it; if the Goods do not fit on one page, you can page using the numbers above and below the list. The detailed product page is reached by clicking on the product name, where you can find the detailed characteristics and price of the Goods. You can also search for Goods by keyword; results are displayed as a list, similarly to categories.
The selected Goods can be placed in the cart using the cart button; the required quantity can be set next to the button. You can check the contents of the cart via the Cart menu, where you can change the quantity of each item or delete it, and empty the whole cart with the "Empty cart" button.
By clicking the Order button you continue the purchasing process. In the second step you may log in, register or purchase without registration. For registration and for purchase without registration you must provide: e-mail address, name, telephone number, billing address and, if different, delivery address. Registration also requires a password. You are informed of successful registration by e-mail and on the Website. You may request deletion of your registration by e-mail; in that case you must register again for a new purchase.
You are responsible for keeping your access data confidential, for keeping your data up to date, and for notifying the Seller if you become aware that a third party has misused your data. If you forget your password, a new one can be requested on the Website to the registered e-mail address. If you have registered previously, the ordering process can be continued by entering your e-mail address and password.
In the next step you select the payment and delivery method. A summary page allows you to check all data previously entered, the Goods to be ordered and their quantities. Data entry errors can be corrected using the pencil icon. If everything is correct, you can finalise the order using the "Send order" button. You receive confirmation on the Website and by e-mail. If you notice incorrect data after the order has been recorded (for example in the confirmation e-mail), you must notify the Seller without delay, but no later than within 24 hours. Regardless of an intention to order, you can log in using the Customer login window or the Login menu; after logging in, a "Modify data" menu appears where you can change the data provided at registration and track the data and status of your orders. If payment for the ordered product(s) is not made within 5 days of the order, we reserve the right to cancel the order.
Information on the chatbot used on the Website
The Seller operates an artificial-intelligence-based customer service chatbot on the Website. Answers given by the chatbot are generated automatically, serve general information purposes only, and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Information provided by the chatbot does not in itself constitute an offer by the Seller, an acceptance of an order, a contractual undertaking or any other binding legal statement. In the event of a discrepancy, the information contained in these GTC, on the Website, on the relevant product page, in the cart and in official electronic messages sent by the Seller prevails. This provision does not affect the Seller's statutory information and liability obligations or the rights of consumers.
6. Placing the order and formation of the contract
Finalising the order (making an offer)
Once you have verified that the contents of the cart correspond to the Goods you wish to order and that your data are correct, you can close your order by clicking the "Click here to place your order" button. The information published on the Website does not constitute an offer by the Seller to conclude a contract. For orders falling under these GTC, you are the offeror.
By pressing the "Click here to place your order" button you expressly acknowledge that your offer is deemed to have been made and that your statement entails an obligation to pay if the Seller confirms it in accordance with these GTC. The Seller must confirm receipt of your order electronically without delay. If this confirmation does not reach you within the time reasonably expected given the nature of the service, but no later than 48 hours after sending the order, you are released from your offer or contractual obligation.
Processing of the order, formation of the contract
Orders are processed in two stages. You may place an order at any time. You first receive an automatic acknowledgement, which only records the fact that your order has been received via the Website; this acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your offer. If you notice that the automatic acknowledgement contains incorrect data (name, delivery address, telephone number, etc.), you must notify us by e-mail without delay, providing the correct data. If you do not receive the automatic acknowledgement within 24 hours of placing your order, please contact us, as your order may not have reached our system for technical reasons.
After you have sent your offer, the Seller confirms it in a second e-mail. The contract is concluded when the confirmation e-mail sent by the Seller becomes available to you in your mail system (second confirmation, acceptance of the offer).
Procedure for unclaimed parcels
If the Buyer does not take delivery of the Goods ordered and handed over for delivery, and does not notify the Seller of an intention to withdraw within the 60-day withdrawal period, the Buyer is in breach of the contract concluded with the Seller, under which the Buyer is obliged to take delivery of the Goods and thereby accept the Seller's performance. In this case the Seller attempts redelivery if this can be agreed with the Buyer, but may make redelivery subject to payment of a delivery fee. If redelivery is unsuccessful or cannot be agreed because the Buyer refuses to cooperate, the Seller is entitled to terminate the contract with immediate effect for breach of contract and to claim the cost of the unsuccessful delivery and return shipment from the Buyer as a contractual penalty. The Parties accept the e-mail address used by the Buyer when ordering as the means of communication for termination, and agree that termination is deemed communicated when the termination letter becomes available in the Buyer's mailbox.
7. Payment methods
Bank transfer in advance
You may pay for the products by bank transfer in advance. If you choose "Advance transfer", you have 5 calendar days to settle the amount. After 5 calendar days your order/offer is deleted from our system.
Cash on delivery
If you wish to pay the value of the order on receipt of the parcel, choose "Cash on delivery". A gross fee of HUF 500 is charged for this payment method.
Cash payment
You may pay the price of the product and the delivery fee in cash on collection of the product.
Bank card payment via CIB Bank
The following cards are accepted: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Electron (if permitted by the card issuer). For card payments, home delivery of the order begins after the payment transaction has been completed. Card payment takes place on the secure server of CIB Bank, on the bank's payment page, which appears automatically after approval of the order. After entering the required card data, the payment is executed by clicking the Pay button. The system sends a confirmation of payment and then redirects you to the webshop, where you also receive confirmation. If CIB Bank rejects the card payment for any reason, you may also pay for the order via the link in the confirmation e-mail. If payment for the ordered product(s) is not made within 1 day of the order, we reserve the right to cancel the order.

Free delivery
For products marked "free delivery", the free delivery benefit applies only when that product is ordered on its own. If you purchase a product marked for free delivery together with other products in one order, free delivery does not automatically extend to the whole order; in that case the delivery fee is determined by the other products in the cart, their size, weight, packaging requirements and the delivery method chosen. Free delivery applies solely to the product for which it is expressly indicated and cannot be combined with other products, promotions or delivery discounts unless the Seller expressly provides otherwise. You can always see the delivery fee actually payable in the cart and during checkout before finalising your order.
9. Performance, reservation of title and cross-border sales
Performance deadline
Where the Buyer is a consumer, unless otherwise agreed by the Parties, the Seller must make the Goods available to the Buyer without delay after conclusion of the contract, but no later than within thirty days.
Accordingly, the general performance deadline for orders is a maximum of 30 days from confirmation of the order. Any different (but not longer than 30 days) performance deadline is indicated by the Seller for the individual delivery methods.
In the event of delay by the Seller, the Buyer is entitled to proceed against the Seller in accordance with Act V of 2013 on the Civil Code.
Reservation of rights, retention of title
If you have previously ordered Goods without taking delivery of them (except where you exercised your right of withdrawal), or the Goods were returned to the Seller marked "not collected", the Seller may make performance of the order conditional on advance payment of the purchase price and delivery costs.
The Seller may withhold delivery of the Goods until it has verified that the price has been successfully paid through the electronic payment solution (including the case where, for Goods paid by transfer, the Buyer transfers the price in the currency of his or her Member State and, due to conversion and bank charges, the Seller does not receive the full amount of the price and delivery fee). If the price has not been paid in full, the Seller may request the Buyer to pay the balance.
Sales abroad – prohibition of geo-blocking
The Seller does not discriminate between customers using the Website in Hungary and customers elsewhere in the European Union, i.e. it does not restrict customers' access to the Website on the basis of their nationality, place of residence or place of establishment. Unless otherwise provided in these GTC, the Seller ensures delivery or collection of the ordered Goods within the territory of Hungary.
The primary language of communication and purchasing is Hungarian; the Seller is not obliged to communicate with the customer in the language of the customer's Member State.
The Seller is not obliged to comply with non-contractual requirements laid down in the national law of the customer's Member State in relation to the Goods concerned, such as labelling or sector-specific requirements, or to inform the customer of such requirements.
Unless the Seller provides otherwise, Hungarian VAT applies to all Goods.
For the handover of the Goods, the Seller provides non-Hungarian customers with the same handover options as Hungarian customers. If, under these GTC, a customer may request delivery of the Goods to Hungary or to any other EU Member State, a non-Hungarian customer may also request this by any delivery method specified in these GTC. If, under these GTC, a customer may choose personal collection at the Seller's premises, a non-Hungarian customer may also do so.
In addition, a non-Hungarian customer may request to arrange transport of the Goods abroad at his or her own cost; Hungarian customers do not have this right.
The Seller performs the order after payment of the delivery fee. If the customer does not pay the delivery fee to the Seller, or does not arrange his or her own transport by the agreed time, the Seller terminates the contract and refunds the purchase price paid in advance to the customer.
10. Consumer information: the right of withdrawal
Information on the consumer Buyer's right of withdrawal
Under Section 8:1 (1) point 3 of the Hungarian Civil Code, only a natural person acting for purposes outside his or her trade, independent profession or business qualifies as a consumer; legal persons therefore cannot exercise the right of withdrawal without giving reasons.
Under Section 20 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving reasons. In the case of a contract for the sale of Goods, the consumer may exercise this right within a period of 14 calendar days from the day on which the consumer, or a third party other than the carrier designated by the consumer, takes delivery of: (a) the Goods; (b) in the case of several Goods supplied at different times, the last Goods supplied; (c) in the case of Goods consisting of multiple lots or pieces, the last lot or piece supplied; (d) in the case of Goods to be supplied regularly over a defined period, the first delivery.
This does not affect the consumer's right to exercise the right of withdrawal between the day of conclusion of the contract and the day of receipt of the Goods.
If the consumer made the offer to conclude the contract, the consumer has the right to revoke the offer before conclusion of the contract, which ends the binding effect of the offer.
If the Seller has not informed the consumer of the period and other conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal (in particular those in Section 22 of the Decree) and of the model withdrawal form in Annex 2, the withdrawal period is extended by 12 months. If the Seller provides this information within 12 months after expiry of the withdrawal period, the period for withdrawal expires on the 14th day after that information is communicated.
Voluntarily extended withdrawal period
In addition to the period provided by Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the Seller voluntarily grants additional time for exercising the right of withdrawal, so that the withdrawal period in the webshop is 60 days in total. This does not exclude the exercise of the statutory right of withdrawal. The conditions for exercising the voluntarily granted withdrawal right are the same as those for the statutory right of withdrawal.
Withdrawal statement, exercising the consumer's right of withdrawal or termination
The consumer may exercise the right under Section 20 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) by an unequivocal statement to that effect, by using the model withdrawal form downloadable from the Website, or by using the online withdrawal function.
The withdrawal function
The withdrawal function is an online withdrawal statement in which the consumer can communicate to the Seller: the decision to withdraw from the contract, the consumer's name, the data identifying the contract concerned, and the details of the electronic means through which the consumer will receive confirmation of the withdrawal.
The withdrawal function is available on the Website via the link "Withdraw from the contract". The consumer sends the online withdrawal statement to the Seller using the confirmation function labelled "Confirm withdrawal".
The Seller sends the consumer, without undue delay and on a durable medium, an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal, containing the content of the withdrawal and the date and time of its submission.
Validity of the consumer's withdrawal statement
The right of withdrawal is deemed exercised within the deadline if the consumer sends the statement before the deadline expires. For withdrawal or termination in writing, it is sufficient to send the statement within the deadline. The burden of proving that the right of withdrawal was exercised in accordance with these provisions lies with the consumer. The Seller confirms receipt of the consumer's withdrawal statement on an electronic medium.
The Seller's obligations in the event of withdrawal
Refund obligation. If the consumer withdraws from the contract in accordance with Section 22 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the Seller refunds the total amount paid by the consumer as consideration, including costs incurred in connection with performance such as the delivery fee, no later than 14 days after becoming aware of the withdrawal. Please note that this does not apply to additional costs resulting from the choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method.
Method of refund. The Seller refunds the amount due using the same payment method as the consumer used. With the consumer's express consent the Seller may use a different method of refund, but the consumer must not incur any additional charge as a result. The Seller is not liable for delays caused by an incorrectly or inaccurately provided bank account number or postal address.
Additional costs. If the consumer expressly chooses a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery method, the Seller is not obliged to refund the resulting additional costs; the refund obligation is limited to the standard delivery fees indicated.
Right of retention. The Seller may withhold the refund until it has received the Goods back or the consumer has provided conclusive proof of having sent them back, whichever is earlier. We cannot accept parcels sent cash on delivery or with postage due.
The consumer's obligations in the event of withdrawal or termination
Return of the Goods. If the consumer withdraws from the contract in accordance with Section 22 of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the consumer must return the Goods without delay, but no later than 14 days after communicating the withdrawal, or hand them over to the Seller or to a person authorised by the Seller to receive the Goods. The deadline is met if the consumer sends the Goods before it expires.
The Goods must be returned to: BÍ-BOR-ÁSZ Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság, 7773 Villány, Szent István utca 35., Hungary.
Direct costs of returning the Goods. The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the Goods to the address above. If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal in person at the Seller's business premises, he or she may return the Goods to the Seller at the same time. For large or heavy Goods that cannot be returned by normal post (for example tanks, presses or machines), the cost of return transport depends on the carrier's rates for the size and weight concerned; as a guide, it corresponds to the delivery fees for the respective weight band set out in Section 8.
If the consumer terminates a distance or off-premises contract for the supply of services after performance has begun, the consumer must pay the Seller an amount proportionate to the services performed up to the time of communicating the termination. The proportionate amount is calculated on the basis of the total price agreed in the contract including tax; if the consumer proves that this total is excessive, the proportionate amount is calculated on the basis of the market value of the services performed. Please note that we cannot accept Goods returned cash on delivery or with postage due.
Liability for diminished value. The consumer is liable for any diminished value of the Goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the Goods.
Cases in which the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised
The Seller expressly draws your attention to the fact that you cannot exercise the right of withdrawal in the cases listed in Section 29 (1) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.):
- after complete performance of a service, where the contract imposes a payment obligation on the consumer, if performance began with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal would be lost once the contract had been fully performed;
- for Goods or services whose price depends on fluctuations in the financial market which cannot be controlled by the Seller and which may occur within the withdrawal period;
- for Goods that are not prefabricated and are made on the basis of the consumer's instructions or express request, or Goods clearly personalised for the consumer;
- for Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- for sealed Goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery (please note that in the case of such Goods, use beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning results in loss of the right of withdrawal);
- for Goods which, after delivery, are by their nature inseparably mixed with other items;
- for alcoholic beverages whose actual value depends on market fluctuations beyond the Seller's control, whose price was agreed at the time of conclusion of the contract and whose delivery takes place only after the thirtieth day following conclusion;
- for contracts where the consumer has specifically requested a visit from the Seller to carry out urgent repairs or maintenance;
- for sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software which were unsealed after delivery;
- for newspapers, periodicals or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts;
- for contracts concluded at a public auction;
- for the provision of accommodation other than for residential purposes, transport of goods, car rental, catering or services related to leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance;
- for digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, if performance began with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal would thereby be lost, and the Seller has sent confirmation.
In the case of hoses, tubes and films sold by the running metre which the Seller cuts after the order to the length selected by the consumer during ordering, and in the case of any other non-prefabricated product whose dimensions the consumer specifies individually during ordering and which the Seller prepares to those dimensions after the order, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised, pursuant to Section 29 (1) (c) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.).
The model withdrawal form (Annex 2 of Government Decree 45/2014) can be downloaded from the Website under "Download withdrawal form".
11. Conformity of the Goods, implied warranty and product warranty (consumer contracts)
This section of the consumer information has been prepared under the authorisation of Section 11 (5) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), taking into account Annex 3 of that Decree. It applies only to Buyers who qualify as consumers; the rules for non-consumer Buyers are set out in a separate section.
Requirements for conforming performance
The Goods and the performance must, at the time of performance, meet the requirements of Government Decree 373/2021 (VI.30.). For performance to be in conformity with the contract, the Goods must:
- correspond to the description, quantity, quality and type set out in the contract, and have the functionality, compatibility, interoperability and other features set out in the contract;
- be fit for any particular purpose for which the consumer requires them, which the consumer made known to the Seller at the latest at the time of conclusion of the contract and which the Seller accepted;
- be delivered with all accessories and instructions specified in the contract, including installation instructions and customer service support; and
- be supplied with updates as provided for in the contract.
In addition, the Goods must:
- be fit for the purposes for which goods of the same type would normally be used, taking into account legislation, technical standards or, in the absence of such standards, applicable codes of conduct;
- be of the quantity, quality, performance and other features – in particular durability, repairability, functionality, compatibility, accessibility, continuity and safety – which are normal for goods of the same type and which the consumer may reasonably expect, taking into account any public statement made by the Seller, its representative or another person in the chain of transactions, in particular in advertising or on labelling, regarding the specific characteristics of the Goods;
- be delivered with such accessories and instructions, including packaging and installation instructions, as the consumer may reasonably expect; and
- correspond to the characteristics and description of any sample, model or trial version made available by the Seller before conclusion of the contract.
The Goods need not comply with a public statement if the Seller proves that it was not, and could not reasonably have been, aware of the statement; that the statement had been corrected in an appropriate manner by the time of conclusion of the contract; or that the statement could not have influenced the consumer's decision to conclude the contract.
There is no lack of conformity if, at the time of conclusion of the contract, the consumer was specifically informed that a particular characteristic of the Goods deviated from the above requirements and the consumer expressly and separately accepted that deviation when concluding the contract.
Goods with digital elements and digital content
For Goods with digital elements, the Seller must ensure that the consumer is informed of and receives updates, including security updates, necessary to keep the Goods in conformity. Where the contract provides for a single act of supply of the digital content or service, updates must be made available for the period the consumer may reasonably expect given the type and purpose of the Goods and digital elements; where the contract provides for continuous supply over a period, for two years from delivery of the Goods in the case of continuous supply not exceeding two years. If the consumer fails to install updates provided within a reasonable time, the Seller is not liable for any lack of conformity resulting solely from that failure, provided that the Seller informed the consumer of the availability of the update and the consequences of failing to install it, and the failure or incorrect installation is not due to shortcomings in the installation instructions provided by the Seller.
Where the Seller supplies digital content, it does so without undue delay after conclusion of the contract, in the most recent version available at that time, unless otherwise agreed. Supply is deemed performed when the digital content, or any means suitable for accessing or downloading it, has reached the consumer or the physical or virtual facility chosen by the consumer. The Seller is liable for a lack of conformity of the digital content that exists at the time of supply and, for continuous supply, throughout the contract period. Unless proven otherwise, a lack of conformity which becomes apparent within one year of supply is presumed to have existed at the time of supply. The Seller is not liable if it proves that the consumer's digital environment is not compatible with the technical requirements of the digital content and informed the consumer of this clearly and comprehensibly before conclusion of the contract. The consumer must cooperate with the Seller, to the extent reasonably possible and necessary, to determine whether the cause of the lack of conformity lies in the consumer's digital environment; if the consumer fails to cooperate after having been clearly informed of this obligation, the burden of proof regarding the lack of conformity lies with the consumer. Where digital content was incorrectly integrated into the consumer's digital environment, the Seller is liable if the integration was carried out by the Seller or under its responsibility, or if the consumer carried out the integration and the incorrect integration was due to shortcomings in the integration instructions provided by the Seller.
Lack of conformity due to incorrect installation
The Seller is liable for a lack of conformity resulting from incorrect installation of the Goods if the installation formed part of the sales contract and was carried out by the Seller or under its responsibility, or if the installation was to be carried out by the consumer and the incorrect installation was due to shortcomings in the installation instructions provided by the Seller (or, for Goods with digital elements, by the supplier of the digital content or service). Where the Seller installs the Goods or installation takes place under its responsibility, performance is deemed completed when installation is completed. For Goods with digital elements with continuous supply, the Seller is liable for a lack of conformity of the digital content that occurs or becomes apparent within two years of delivery (for supply not exceeding two years) or throughout the period of continuous supply (for supply exceeding two years).
Implied warranty (kellékszavatosság)
When can you exercise your implied warranty rights? In the event of defective performance by the Seller, you may assert an implied warranty claim against the Seller under the Civil Code and, for consumer contracts, under Government Decree 373/2021 (VI.30.).
What rights do you have under an implied warranty claim? At your choice, you may request repair or replacement, unless the remedy you choose is impossible or would involve disproportionate additional costs for the Seller compared with another remedy. If you did not or could not request repair or replacement, you may request a proportionate reduction of the price or, as a last resort, withdraw from the contract.
Before bringing the Goods into conformity, the Seller informs the consumer that, under the implied warranty claim, the consumer may choose between repair and replacement, and that in the case of repair the limitation period for the implied warranty claim is extended once by twelve months. Depending on the product category, the Seller may lend replacement goods free of charge for the duration of the repair; the replacement goods may be refurbished. Provision of replacement goods is not automatic and takes place only under a separate undertaking by the Seller. At the consumer's express request, the Seller may also fulfil its replacement obligation with refurbished goods.
You may switch from one implied warranty right to another, but you bear the cost of switching unless it was justified or the Seller gave cause for it.
In consumer contracts, unless proven otherwise, a defect discovered within one year of performance is presumed to have existed at the time of performance, unless this presumption is incompatible with the nature of the Goods or of the defect.
The Seller may refuse to bring the Goods into conformity if repair or replacement is impossible or would involve disproportionate costs for the Seller, taking into account all circumstances, including the value the Goods would have without the lack of conformity and the significance of the lack of conformity.
The consumer is also entitled, in proportion to the seriousness of the breach, to a price reduction or to terminate the contract if: the Seller has not carried out the repair or replacement, or has done so without complying with the requirements that the Seller must take back the replaced goods at its own expense and, where repair or replacement requires removal of goods installed in accordance with their nature and purpose before the defect became apparent, must remove the non-conforming goods and install the replacement or repaired goods or bear the cost of doing so; the Seller has refused to bring the Goods into conformity; a lack of conformity has reappeared despite the Seller's attempt to bring the Goods into conformity; the lack of conformity is so serious as to justify an immediate price reduction or termination; or the Seller has declared, or it is clear from the circumstances, that it will not bring the Goods into conformity within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to the consumer.
If the consumer wishes to terminate the contract for lack of conformity, the burden of proving that the lack of conformity is minor lies with the Seller. The consumer may withhold the outstanding part of the price, in whole or in part, in proportion to the seriousness of the breach, until the Seller has fulfilled its obligations relating to conformity.
The reasonable period for repair or replacement runs from the time the consumer notified the Seller of the defect. The consumer must make the Goods available to the Seller for repair or replacement. A price reduction is proportionate if it equals the difference between the value of the Goods the consumer would have received under conforming performance and the value of the Goods actually received. The consumer's right to terminate the contract is exercised by a statement addressed to the Seller expressing the decision to terminate. If the lack of conformity affects only some of the Goods supplied, the consumer may terminate the contract only in respect of the defective Goods, but may also terminate it in respect of any other Goods acquired together with them if the consumer cannot reasonably be expected to keep only the conforming Goods. If the consumer terminates the contract in whole or in part, the consumer must return the Goods concerned to the Seller at the Seller's expense, and the Seller must refund the price paid for the Goods concerned without delay once it has received the Goods or proof of their return.
The Seller draws up a record of any warranty claim notified to it and provides a copy to the consumer without delay in a verifiable manner. If the Seller cannot state at the time of notification whether the claim can be met, it must inform the consumer of its position within 8 days in a verifiable manner, including, if the claim is rejected, the reasons and the possibility of turning to a conciliation board. The Seller must endeavour to carry out the repair or replacement within 15 days; if it will take longer, the Seller must inform the consumer of the expected duration.
Within what period can you assert an implied warranty claim? You must notify the defect without delay after discovering it. A defect notified within two months of discovery is deemed notified without delay. However, implied warranty rights cannot be asserted after the two-year limitation period from performance of the contract. If the Goods are brought into conformity by repair, the limitation period is extended once by twelve months. The part of the repair period during which the Buyer cannot use the Goods as intended is not counted towards the limitation period. For the part of the Goods affected by replacement or repair, the limitation period starts anew; this also applies where a new defect arises as a consequence of the repair.
Against whom can you assert an implied warranty claim? Against the Seller.
What other conditions apply? Within one year of performance, no condition other than notification of the defect applies, provided you prove that the Goods were supplied by the Seller. After one year from performance, you must prove that the defect you discovered already existed at the time of performance.
Special rules for implied warranty claims relating to digital content
The consumer is also entitled, in proportion to the seriousness of the breach, to a price reduction or to terminate the contract for the supply of digital content if: repair or replacement is impossible or would involve disproportionate costs for the Seller; the Seller fails to bring the performance into conformity free of charge within a reasonable time after notification of the defect and without significant inconvenience to the consumer, having regard to the nature and purpose of the digital content; a lack of conformity reappears despite the Seller's attempt to remedy it; the lack of conformity is so serious as to justify immediate price reduction or termination; or the Seller has declared, or it is clear from the circumstances, that it will not bring the performance into conformity within a reasonable time or without significant inconvenience to the consumer. When exercising the right to repair or replacement, the Seller must bring the performance into conformity free of charge within a reasonable time after notification and without significant inconvenience to the consumer, and may choose the method of doing so depending on the technical characteristics of the digital content. A price reduction is proportionate if it equals the difference between the value of the performance the consumer would have received under conforming performance and the value actually received; for continuous supply over a period, the reduction applies to the period during which the performance was not in conformity. If the consumer wishes to terminate the contract for lack of conformity, the burden of proving that the lack of conformity is minor lies with the Seller. Where the Seller supplies digital content and the consumer provides only personal data in return, the consumer may terminate the contract for any lack of conformity, even if minor.
Product warranty (termékszavatosság)
When can you exercise your product warranty rights? In the event of a defect in movable goods (Goods), you may, at your choice, assert an implied warranty claim or a product warranty claim under the rules of the Civil Code.
What rights do you have under a product warranty claim? You may request the repair or replacement of the defective Goods.
When are the Goods defective? The Goods are defective if they do not meet the quality requirements in force at the time they were placed on the market, or if they do not have the characteristics described by the manufacturer.
Within what period can you assert a product warranty claim? Within two years of the Goods being placed on the market by the manufacturer. After this period you lose this right.
Against whom can you assert a product warranty claim? Only against the manufacturer or distributor of the Goods (together: manufacturer).
What burden of proof applies? You must prove that the defect existed at the time the Goods were placed on the market by the manufacturer.
When is the manufacturer exempt from its product warranty obligation? The manufacturer is exempt if it proves that: it did not manufacture or place the Goods on the market in the course of its business; the defect was not detectable according to the state of science and technology at the time of placing on the market; or the defect results from the application of legislation or a mandatory official requirement. The manufacturer need prove only one ground for exemption.
Please note that you may assert an implied warranty claim against the Seller and a product warranty claim against the manufacturer for the same defect at the same time, in parallel. If your product warranty claim is successfully asserted, you may assert an implied warranty claim for the replaced Goods or the repaired part only against the manufacturer.
12. Statutory guarantee (jótállás)
When can you exercise your guarantee rights? Under Government Decree 151/2003 (IX.22.) on the mandatory guarantee for durable consumer goods, the Seller is obliged to provide a guarantee when selling new durable consumer goods listed in Annex 1 of Decree 10/2024 (VI.28.) of the Minister of Justice (for example technical goods, tools and machines), as well as their accessories and components within the scope defined there (referred to together in this section as consumer goods). The list of consumer goods subject to mandatory guarantee is contained in Decree 10/2024 (VI.28.) of the Minister of Justice.
Rights arising from the guarantee may be enforced with the guarantee certificate or, as detailed in this section, with the receipt proving payment of the price. The Seller is not obliged to issue or hand over a guarantee certificate if the sale price of the consumer goods does not exceed HUF 100,000; in that case the guarantee rights may be enforced with the receipt proving payment. Irregular issue of the guarantee certificate or failure to provide it does not affect the validity of the guarantee. If the guarantee certificate is not provided, the conclusion of the contract is deemed proven if the consumer presents the receipt proving payment (invoice or receipt issued under the VAT Act); in that case the guarantee rights may be enforced with that receipt. Return of the opened packaging of the consumer goods is not a condition for meeting a guarantee claim.
Guarantee rights
Under the guarantee, the Buyer may request repair or replacement, may request a price reduction in the cases provided by law, or may ultimately withdraw from the contract if the obligor has not undertaken repair or replacement, cannot fulfil this obligation within an appropriate period while sparing the interests of the Buyer, or if the Buyer's interest in repair or replacement has ceased. The Buyer may notify the guarantee claim, at his or her choice, at the Seller's registered seat, any of its sites or branches, or directly at the repair service indicated on the guarantee certificate.
Guarantee period
The guarantee claim may be enforced during the guarantee period, which under Government Decree 151/2003 (IX.22.) is:
| Sale price | Guarantee period |
|---|---|
| HUF 10,000 up to and including HUF 250,000 | two years |
| above HUF 250,000 | three years |
Failure to meet these deadlines results in loss of rights; however, in the case of repair, the guarantee period is extended from the day of handover for repair by the time during which the Buyer could not use the consumer goods as intended because of the defect. The guarantee period starts on delivery of the consumer goods to the Buyer or, if installation is carried out by the Seller, its agent or another person entitled to install, on the day of installation. If the Buyer has the consumer goods installed more than six months after delivery, the guarantee period starts on the day of delivery.
Rules for handling guarantee claims
The Seller must endeavour to carry out the repair or replacement within 15 days. If the repair or replacement takes longer than 15 days, the Seller must inform the Buyer of the expected duration; by accepting these GTC the Buyer agrees that this information may be provided electronically or in another manner suitable for proving receipt by the consumer.
If, during the guarantee period, the Seller establishes that the consumer goods cannot be repaired, the Seller must replace them within eight days, unless the consumer provides otherwise. If replacement is not possible, the Seller must refund within eight days the purchase price indicated on the guarantee certificate or, in its absence, on the receipt presented by the consumer (invoice or receipt issued under the VAT Act).
If the consumer goods are not repaired by the thirtieth day after notification of the guarantee claim to the Seller, the Seller must replace them within eight days after the unsuccessful expiry of the thirty-day period, unless the consumer provides otherwise. If replacement is not possible, the Seller must refund the purchase price within eight days after the unsuccessful expiry of the thirty-day repair period.
If the consumer goods fail for the fourth time during the guarantee period, the Seller must replace them within eight days, unless the consumer provides otherwise; if replacement is not possible, the Seller must refund the purchase price within eight days.
Consumer goods subject to mandatory guarantee that are fixed installations, weigh more than 10 kg or cannot be carried as hand luggage on public transport (vehicles excepted) must be repaired at the place of operation. If repair cannot be carried out there, the Seller – or, for claims made directly at the repair service, the repair service – arranges dismantling and reinstallation as well as transport to and from the place of repair.
The Seller draws up a record of any guarantee claim notified to it and provides a copy to the consumer without delay in a verifiable manner. If the Seller cannot state at the time of notification whether the claim can be met, it must inform the consumer of its position within 8 days in a verifiable manner, including, if the claim is rejected, the reasons and the possibility of turning to a conciliation board.
Exceptions
The rules under "Rules for handling guarantee claims" do not apply to electric bicycles, electric scooters, quads, motorcycles, mopeds, passenger cars, motorhomes, caravans, trailer caravans, trailers and motorised watercraft. For these Goods the Seller must nevertheless endeavour to meet repair claims within 15 days and, if repair or replacement takes longer, inform the Buyer of the expected duration.
Relationship between the guarantee and other warranty rights
The guarantee applies alongside the warranty rights (product warranty and implied warranty). The fundamental difference between general warranty rights and the guarantee is that under the guarantee the burden of proof is more favourable to the consumer.
Replacement claim within three working days
The institution of the replacement claim within three working days also applies to sales through the webshop for new durable consumer goods. If the consumer asserts a replacement claim within 3 working days of purchase or installation because of a defect in the consumer goods, the Seller may not invoke disproportionate additional costs under Section 6:159 (2) (a) of the Civil Code and must replace the consumer goods within eight days, provided that the defect prevents their intended use. If replacement is not possible, the Seller must refund without delay the purchase price indicated on the guarantee certificate or, in its absence, on the receipt presented by the consumer.
When is the Seller exempt from its guarantee obligation?
The Seller is exempt from its guarantee obligation only if it proves that the cause of the defect arose after performance.
Please note that you may assert an implied warranty claim and a guarantee claim, or a product warranty claim and a guarantee claim, for the same defect at the same time, in parallel. However, if you have once successfully asserted a claim arising from defective performance for a given defect (for example the Seller replaced the product), you may no longer assert a claim on another legal basis for the same defect.
Manufacturer's guarantee
Where the manufacturer of a product provides a commercial guarantee that is longer than, or goes beyond, the statutory guarantee (for example a three-year manufacturer's guarantee indicated on the product or on the product page), the consumer may rely on the more favourable terms. The conditions of the manufacturer's guarantee are set out in the guarantee statement provided with the product; the manufacturer's guarantee does not limit the consumer's statutory rights.
13. Warranty and guarantee rules for Buyers who are not consumers
General rules of implied warranty
A Buyer who is not a consumer may, at its choice, request repair or replacement, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would involve disproportionate additional costs for the Seller compared with another remedy. If repair or replacement was not or could not be requested, the Buyer may request a proportionate price reduction, may have the defect repaired itself or by a third party at the Seller's expense, or, as a last resort, may withdraw from the contract. The Buyer may switch from one implied warranty right to another, but bears the cost of switching unless it was justified or the Seller gave cause for it.
For Buyers who are not consumers, the period for asserting implied warranty rights is 1 year, starting on the day of performance (delivery).
Product warranty and guarantee
Product warranty and the mandatory statutory guarantee are available only to Buyers who are consumers and, under the conditions set out below, to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises. If the manufacturer provides a manufacturer's guarantee covering Buyers who are not consumers, it may be enforced directly with the manufacturer.
Special rules for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)
The provisions of this part apply only to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises within the meaning of the Act on small and medium-sized enterprises and support for their development (SMEs) acting for purposes outside their trade, independent profession or business.
Implied warranty for SMEs. You must notify the defect without delay after discovering it; a defect notified within two months of discovery is deemed notified without delay. Implied warranty rights cannot be asserted after the two-year limitation period from performance. The claim is asserted against the Seller. At your choice you may request repair or replacement, unless the chosen remedy is impossible or would involve disproportionate additional costs for the Seller; if repair or replacement was not or could not be requested, you may request a proportionate price reduction or, as a last resort, withdraw from the contract. Within 6 months of performance, no condition other than notification of the defect applies, provided you prove that the Goods were supplied by the Seller; after 6 months you must prove that the defect already existed at the time of performance.
Product warranty for SMEs. In the event of a defect in movable goods you may, at your choice, assert an implied warranty claim or a product warranty claim under the Civil Code. Under a product warranty claim you may request repair or replacement of the defective Goods. The claim may be asserted within two years of the Goods being placed on the market by the manufacturer, against the manufacturer or distributor (together: manufacturer). The manufacturer is exempt if it proves that it did not manufacture or place the Goods on the market in the course of its business, that the defect was not detectable according to the state of science and technology at the time of placing on the market, or that the defect results from the application of legislation or a mandatory official requirement; proving one ground is sufficient.
Guarantee for SMEs. Under Government Decree 151/2003 (IX.22.), the Seller is obliged to provide a guarantee when selling new durable consumer goods listed in Annex 1 of Decree 10/2024 (VI.28.) of the Minister of Justice (for example technical goods, tools and machines) and their accessories and components within the scope defined there, if you as an SME purchase the consumer goods, acting outside your trade, independent profession or business, in the course of retail trade within the meaning of the Trade Act, regardless of whether the consumer goods are accounted for within your business activity. Under the guarantee you may request repair or replacement, may request a price reduction in the cases provided by law, or may ultimately withdraw from the contract if the obligor has not undertaken repair or replacement, cannot fulfil this obligation within an appropriate period while sparing your interests, or if your interest in repair or replacement has ceased. The claim may be notified at the Seller's registered seat, any of its sites or branches, or directly at the repair service indicated on the guarantee certificate. The guarantee period is two years for a sale price from HUF 10,000 up to and including HUF 250,000, and three years for a sale price above HUF 250,000; failure to meet these deadlines results in loss of rights, but in the case of repair the period is extended by the time during which the goods could not be used as intended because of the defect. The guarantee period starts on delivery or, if installation is carried out by the Seller, its agent or another person entitled to install, on the day of installation; if installation takes place more than six months after delivery, the period starts on the day of delivery. The Seller is exempt from its guarantee obligation only if it proves that the cause of the defect arose after performance.

you have objected to the processing, and it is necessary to verify whether the legitimate grounds of the Data Controller override your legitimate grounds.
Where processing has been restricted, such personal data may be processed, with the exception of storage, only with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.
V.5. Right to Erasure / Right to Be Forgotten

the personal data are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or processed by the Data Controller;
you withdraw your consent and there is no other legal basis for the processing;
you object to processing based on legitimate interest and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing;
the Data Controller has processed the personal data unlawfully;
the personal data must be erased for compliance with a legal obligation under European Union or Member State law applicable to the Data Controller.
Erasure does not apply where processing is necessary:
for compliance with a legal obligation, for example the statutory retention of invoices;
for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims;
for handling an ongoing consumer or data protection complaint.
V.6. Right to Object
You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of your personal data based on legitimate interest.
In this case, the Data Controller may no longer process the personal data unless the Data Controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or where the processing is related to the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
V.7. Right to Data Portability
Where data processing is based on your consent or is carried out for the performance of a contract, you have the right to request that the Data Controller provide you with the data you have provided to the Data Controller.
The Data Controller will provide the data in XML, JSON or CSV format, where technically feasible.
Where technically feasible, you may also request that the Data Controller transfer the data directly to another controller.

Accessibility Statement – bi-bor.hu
1. Introduction
As the operator of the bi-bor.hu online store, Bí-Bor-Ász Kft. is committed to making its digital services accessible to the widest possible range of users, including people with disabilities and users with different accessibility needs.
Our goal is to gradually improve the accessibility of the online store in line with applicable European accessibility requirements. During the development and improvement of the website, we take into account the recommendations of WCAG 2.1 at AA level.
2. Description of the Service
The bi-bor.hu online store offers a wide range of products for viticulture, winemaking and agriculture, including equipment, machines, oenological products, bottling accessories, packaging materials, tools and other professional products.
Products can be added to the online shopping cart and ordered through the checkout process. Customers may place an order either with registration or as a guest. Users can use search and filtering functions, for example by product type, brand or price category.
Product pages include product descriptions, images, price and availability information and, where available, additional technical or usage-related information.
3. Current Accessibility Status
The accessibility of the bi-bor.hu online store is currently being improved. The existing system already supports more accessible use in several areas; however, some functions still require further development.
Currently available or partially available functions
Responsive display on mobile phones and tablets.
Basic usability of the main areas of the online store, including the homepage, category pages, product pages, shopping cart and checkout process.
Basic keyboard navigation in several main menu and form areas.
A significant part of the shopping cart and checkout form fields can be interpreted with screen readers.
Several images have alternative text.
Several buttons and interactive elements have labels or ARIA attributes.
A confirmation e-mail is sent after an order is placed.
Most content is arranged in a logical structure, with headings and separated content sections.
4. Known Limitations
Due to the current online store template and existing custom developments, accessibility has not yet been fully implemented. We are aware of the following limitations:
Not all components have complete ARIA attributes.
Some interactive elements are not yet fully accessible by keyboard.
Certain navigation elements, buttons and highlighted sections require further review of colour and contrast settings.
A “Skip to content” function is currently not available.
Alternative text for certain images and icons may still require improvement.
The accessibility of certain external or embedded modules may be limited.
5. Development and Migration Plan
In order to improve the accessibility of the bi-bor.hu online store, we plan to migrate to a new store template prepared for improved accessibility. The planned basis is the “Taurus 2600” template, which is currently in preparation, testing and pre-launch status.
After the new template is finalised, we will begin transferring the individual visual design and functional elements of the online store. Our aim is to bring the website as close as possible to WCAG 2.1 AA recommendations, while maintaining operational stability, user experience and existing business processes.
The planned improvements include, in particular:
improving keyboard navigation,
adding and correcting ARIA labels and attributes,
reviewing contrast ratios,
expanding alternative text,
improving the accessibility of forms and error messages,
introducing a “Skip to content” function,
testing with screen readers,
reviewing the main steps of the purchasing process from an accessibility perspective.
The planned completion of the development is early September 2026. This statement will be updated after the development work has been completed.
6. Disproportionate Burden and Temporary Measures
A complete accessibility adaptation of the current online store template would currently impose a disproportionate technical and business burden on the operator.
The main reasons are:
Certain parts of the current template can only be modified to a limited extent from a technical perspective.
Immediate migration to a template that has not yet been fully finalised could result in the loss of the store’s custom visual design, functions and previous developments.
A premature migration could negatively affect the ordering process, product display and customer service.
This would create a direct business risk and a risk to the user experience.
For this reason, the operator has chosen a technically and commercially proportionate solution: waiting for the stable version of the new template, followed by a comprehensive redesign and gradual accessibility improvements.
During the transitional period, our customer service team provides assistance to users who encounter difficulties while using the online store.
