Caseinate /casein/ MICRON96 1kg

Product features:

Caseinate 1 kg is a high-quality wine clarifying agent designed for the selective adsorption of tannins responsible for the unpleasant "stringy" taste of wines. It effectively reduces taste problems caused by high polyphenol content and minimizes the risk of turbidity caused by heavy metal ions, especially copper. With its use, blue lightening can be avoided in many cases, and color deepening caused by oxidation can be prevented with timely treatment. It is also an ideal choice for clarifying slightly aged wines.

Caseinate is an odorless, fine white powder that does not contain preservatives.

Application:

Dissolve the powder without lumps in ten times the amount of cold water, then slowly pour it into the drink to be treated and homogenize it while stirring constantly. In combination with bentonite (Fortbenton, Nucleobent), a perfect clarifying effect is achieved. During combined clarification, it is added to the liquid to be clarified as the first step, it can only be preceded by possible activated carbon treatment.

Dosage:

• To clarify must: 50-100 g/hl
• For clarifying wines: 30-60 g/hl
• For clarifying aged wines: 80-120 g/hl

Before use, it is recommended to carry out a preliminary laboratory test and sensory examination. Dissolve the dust only immediately before clarification.
