Product description
Kupzit is a new development copper citrate preparation for removing odor defects of wine, fruit wine, and other fermentation products characterized by hydrogen sulfide odor (smell). Kupzit contains 2% copper citrate and has been applied to a mineral
carrier, pure, valuable bentonite, and granulated for easy dosing and handling. Kupzit reacts quickly and specifically with sulphur-containing,
unpleasant-smelling compounds such as hydrogen sulphide and mercaptans. It precipitates them without - if the dosage is correct - the
copper content in the drink rising noticeably.

Product authorized under Commission (EU) 934/2019 EC regulation. During its use, the national
regulations must be taken into account. Product tested in a specialized laboratory for purity and quality.
Dosage and application

In order to achieve optimal treatment, we recommend conducting preliminary tests in all cases. In general, the dosage is 5-20 g / 100 l, in special
cases 50 g / 100 l or more (the regulations in force in the given country must be taken into account). It must be dissolved in wine in a ratio of 1:10
before administration. Dosing for the amount to be treated, make sure to mix it well. The treatment material
takes effect in a few minutes. Separation of the resulting clarification sediment must be carried out by filtration within 1-2 days.

With proper use, the disturbing increase in copper content does not occur, or only to a small extent. Therefore, after treatment with
Kupzit, no separate blue clarification is necessary in most cases. It can be applied individually or combined
with clarification. During combined clarification, Kupzit must be administered first.

Storage
Kupzit must be protected from the effects of moisture, light and odors. Opened packages are carefully resealed.

Special comments
Compared to the materials used to treat the smell of kupzi, Kupzi? its properties are as follows:
- Kupzit is a biotic product,
- the citric acid in Kupzit corresponds to the naturally occurring citric acid in wine,
- Kupzit has a high reaction specificity,
- Kupzit reacts with the substances that cause the smell of copper without a detectable excess of copper, therefore no subsequent
clarification is usually necessary,
- due to its granular structure, it is easy to handle and dose
