Product Features

FermoBent® PORE-TEC is a special bentonite with very fine granules, which was specially developed for must treatment. The product has an extremely low iron content, thus minimizing the increase in the iron content of the wine during treatments.

Treatment purpose

The product enables the early and permanent binding of proteins in the must, while also effectively removing substances that inhibit fermentation. The long contact time between the bentonite and the must does not significantly increase the iron content of the fermented wine, and the bentonite bottom is separated together with the sweeper.

• Purposeful mineral selection: Helps preserve the wine's clean aroma and ensures rapid sedimentation at the end of fermentation.

Dosing instructions

The recommended dosage is 100 - 200 g / 100 l, depending on the type of must and the vintage. In some cases, a higher dosage may be necessary, especially for musts with a higher pH.

Application advice

FermoBent® PORE-TEC can be added directly to the must with intensive mixing, thereby promoting optimal fermentation. It is recommended to swell the product in 5 times the amount of water for 4-6 hours, then mix well in the fermentation tank.

Storage guide

The product has a strong adsorption capacity, so it is sensitive to foreign odors and moisture. It is recommended to seal the opened packages airtight in order to preserve the quality of the product. In case of improper storage, the product warranty cannot be enforced.
