Effectiveness of BROS Insect Trap Tape

The BROS Insect Trap tape is an excellent tool for protecting ornamental and fruit trees against various pests. The tape is coated on both sides with glue, so when placed on the trunk of trees, it acts as an effective mechanical barrier.

How does it work?

The tape prevents insects such as winter moths and wasps from climbing up the tree trunks, stopping them from breeding and causing further damage. The adhesive surface not only stops the insects, but also allows them to be detected and the population estimated, which can provide farmers with important information.

Suggestions for use

• Apply the tape around the trunk of the tree, making sure the adhesive surfaces are in contact with the wood.
• Make sure that the tape is not too tight so that it does not hinder the growth of the tree.
• Regular inspection and replacement of the tape is recommended to maintain its effectiveness.
