FELCO branch cutter 200A-40

Don't judge this two-handed lopper by its size! With its 40 cm arms, it is a super light and easy-to-turn tool. Due to its compact size, it can be easily transported, but at the same time, precise cutting and enormous cutting power are also available with these scissors.

Despite its lightness, it is a robust pruner, whose narrow blade can be easily inserted into the fork and with one precise movement, branches of up to 35 mm can be cut. If a branch has been clamped with these scissors, the grooved support blade will not allow it to slip out anymore, it will remain just as deep under the cutting edge as when the cut was started.

The FELCO 200A pruner comes in three handle sizes: the 40 cm is the smallest, the 50 cm is the medium and the 60 cm is the largest. The diameter of the branch that can be cut is the same for all three types, 35 mm, at the same time, the advantage of the longer handle is greater leverage. The long handle also has a disadvantage: the larger handles also open wider, so it is more difficult to reach the branches to be cut with them in densely overgrown places. The longer handle also adds a little extra weight, although the difference between the individual steps is only 60 grams.

The letter A in the name of the FELCO 200A pruning shears series refers to the aluminum alloy, as the same pruning shears are also available under the name 200C with a carbon-reinforced handle. This handle is even stronger, more flexible and, nevertheless, lighter than forged aluminum.

The special feature of the branch cutter is the double-sided buffer made of soft rubber, which dampens the forces on the human arm and wrist every time it is closed and is gentle on the joints. Anyone who has used a lopper for hours knows how much a damped closing and butter-soft cutting is worth.

Advantages: light and extremely strong aluminum alloy arms, warm-touch handle, bolted blade and counter blade made of hardened steel. Clean, precise cutting.

Each part of the pruner is replaceable, so the tool is not lost due to wear or damage to a single part.

Features: simple cutting adjustment, straight, well-maneuverable cutting head, toothed counter blade.

Ergonomics: protects the hand and wrist, thanks to the ideally shaped handle, and rubber bumper closure that dampens the force of the impact. The cover on the handle is non-slip.

Especially recommended: vineyards, orchards, home gardens
