Management

The Filtrox AF 9 filter sheets can only be used for sheet filter machines, ensuring maximum efficiency and safety during the filtration process. When inserting the depth filter sheets, make sure they are not damaged and always enter the filter in the correct direction. The rough surface should be towards the side to be filtered, while the smooth surface should be on the filtered side. Before using the filter sheets for the first time, it is advisable to wash them to ensure flawless operation.

Cleaning

You can ensure a longer service life of the FIBRAFIX depth filter plates with proper cleaning, which can be done with cold or hot water. Cold cleaning takes 5 minutes at 15-20 °C, while hot cleaning at 60-80 °C is recommended for 10 minutes, against the direction of filtration.

Sterilization

Sterilization of the filter sheets is essential for hygienic filtration. This can be done with steam, where the temperature cannot exceed 125 °C, or with hot water at a minimum of 85 °C, ensuring disinfection of the entire system.

Storage

Store the filter sheets in their original packaging in a dry and well-ventilated place, avoiding contact with foreign materials. These are intended for immediate use and must be used within 36 months of delivery.
