Short description of the product
CarboTec GE it is able to selectively bind substances interfering with fermentation in the early must stage without damaging or reducing the must's aromas. During its application, the preventive treatment of the must can prevent disturbing substances, such as pesticide residues or defective tones that appear due to the rotting of the grapes. With this treatment, fermentation problems and malic acid breakdown can be prevented. Fermentation and malic acid breakdown take place more efficiently and result in wine with a clearer tone.
Another advantage is that the must settles faster and the proteins and colloids that cause turbidity settle down faster. CarboTec GE reduces the unwanted odor of musts.
Product authorized under Commission Regulation (EU) 934/2019 EC. National regulations must be taken into account during its use. Product tested in a specialized laboratory for purity and quality.
CarboTec GE is casein-free, so its use is not required to be indicated on the label.
The product can also be used to make vegan wine.
Dosage
Depending on the care and infection of the grapes, we recommend the following dosage amounts:

Treatment purpose Dosage [g/100 L]
Preventive treatment to keep the fermentation in a clean tone 50 - 100
Slightly contaminated grapes (with chemical residues, rot) 100 - 150
Heavily contaminated grapes 150 - 200

CarboTec GE is sprinkled directly on the grapes or mash or added as a suspension with must. Due to the early dosing
, CarboTec GE can mix well in the following phases of processing. Adding it to must is also possible in the case of sedimentation and
flotation, it is recommended to remove the pure must from the sediment formed in this way before fermentation.
