Product Information
The UltraBent PORE-TEC UF highly pure and effective Na-Ca bentonite granulated with PORE-TECnology. Thanks to the product development of UltraBent PORE-TEC
UF, it guarantees a protein stabilizing effect during Crossflow filtration.

UltraBent PORE-TEC UF can be used with the PALL Oenofine XL Crossflow system. Ask the opinion of your Crossflow distributor about
application related to equipment from other manufacturers.
After adequate swelling, the bentonite can be added to the clear wine of the Crossflow system without having to do an additional
filtration beforehand.
Since this bentonite does not contain particles larger than 100 µm due to its fine particles, it does not damage the Crossflow
membranes. Due to the limited particle size, it is excellently suitable for Crossflow
devices with a hollow membrane after swelling. Thus, cleaning and stabilization can be done in one go. Due to the purity of the product and its high protein adsorption
ability, the dosing amount is lower compared to that of traditional bentonites.
Permitted according to Commission Regulation 934/2019/EU. National regulations must be checked by the user. Tested for purity and
quality.

Dosage
In order to achieve the desired effect, the required dosage amount must be determined by a clarification test. The dosage
quantity and the clarifying effect depend on the pH value, temperature and turbidity of the drink to be treated.

Dosage guidelines:

Wine: 25 - 200 g/100 l based on trial clarification
Fruit juice: 25 - 200 g/100 l based on trial clarification
UltraBent Slowly mix PORE-TEC UF into 5-10 times the amount of water. At least for 4-8 hours, to swell. Before use
check that the suspension is free of foreign odors! Dilute the bentonite pulp obtained in this way with the drink to be treated and
add it to the wine or fruit juice to be treated with constant stirring.

Storage
UltraBent PORE-TEC UF is a highly efficient adsorption agent, therefore it tends to bind odors and water. It must be stored in a place free from foreign odors and
moisture. Opened packages are sealed airtight. In case of improper storage and
use, the user is responsible.
