Product information
CelluFluxx® is a filtration aid made of cellulose of various finenesses that can be used for wine, champagne and fruit juice filtration.
Thanks to the complex extraction process used during production, they are able to produce highly pure fibers. Each CelluFluxx® type is created with a special
grinding technology and the different fibrillation of the fibers. The special celluloses are made from 100% renewable raw materials (from deciduous and coniferous trees) and are 100% natural. Cellulose is biologically
degradable and thus suitable for agricultural use.

CelluFluxx® does not contain crystalline parts and its use is not harmful to health.
CelluFluxx® is very gentle on the drink to be filtered. The filter celluloses form a well-structured, loosely structured filter cake and
excellently resist pressure fluctuations. This feature prevents the filter cake from tearing and particles from passing
into the filtrate.
The filter cake with a loose structure gives a significantly better flow performance, and in addition, the amount of required filter material
is significantly reduced. As a result, the loss of the drink to be filtered is also smaller and less used filter material must
be destroyed.

Dosing
Dosing amounts depend on different conditions. Depending on the initial turbidity of the drink to be filtered and the purity of the filtered
to be achieved, the dosages can be very different.
During siltation (diatomaceous earth) filtration of beverages, a base layer must be applied to the support fabric of the filter.
In the case of a diatomaceous earth filter machine with a stainless steel screen fabric, the base layer must be formed with CelluFluxx® P30, the next
base layer with the same type or it can be formed with the filter cellulose mixture used for continuous dosing. The first base layer
helps the used filter cake to be separated from the screen fabric more easily, the second base layer is used specifically for the sharpness
of the filter. During continuous dosing during filtration, a specific amount of filtration aid is added
into the liquid flow in order to maintain the drain function of the filter cake.
The different CelluFluxx® types must be chosen according to the conditions and the goal to be achieved. For this, Erbslöh offers the CelluFluxx® types that meet the
requirements in different filter strengths, which can be used alone or as a mixture
(see next page). In addition, Erbslöh provides detailed application instructions for the
use of CelluFluxx® types.

Storage
CelluFluxx® celluloses are stored in a place free from foreign odors and moisture. Close the opened package after use.
