Product Guide
TrubEx is a long-fibered, large-volume cellulose, which can be used for pressing mash with a consistency that is not suitable for pressing (hardened
mash), and can also be used for pressing wort settling grounds (smaller quantities).
The special feature of specially prepared cellulose fibers is that they can hold a relatively large amount of liquid and can be
pressed well. Turbulent substances are retained by the internal structure of the cellulose, so a good cleaning effect is achieved.

Using TrubEx during pressing
TrubEx with large volume and long fibers creates a good drain effect during pressing, improving the structure of the press cake. This
can be very useful for fruits that have little dry matter structure. For example, fruits that have been stored for a long time, unsqueezable, jammy mash, so they can be pressed. By using TrubEx, the pressing time can be significantly
reduced and the yield and the purity of the squeezed juice are significantly increased.

Using TrubEx in mustalj processing
The cellulose must be mixed homogeneously into the mustalj. Cellulose fibers absorb liquid and bind turbidity. The
mustalj-cellulose mixture can then be squeezed out in a suitable press and a product of adequate purity can be obtained.
Authorized according to Commission Regulation 934/2019/EU. National regulations must be checked by the user. Tested for purity and
quality.

Dosage and application
Depending on the liquid content of the winemaking bottom or mash, 1-3 kg of TrubEx / 100 l v. kg.
TrubEx can be purchased in compressed bales of 10 kg. Before use, the cellulose fibers must be torn apart and, if possible, left to swell with the liquid. The swelling time is approx. 2 minutes. The swelling makes it easier for the fibers to be incorporated and
dissolved in the liquid. If swelling is not possible, you can add it directly to the mash or mustalj.

Storage
Store Trub-ex in a dry and odor-free place. Close the opened packages carefully.

Destruction
TrubEx is completely biodegradable (100% biomass) and, depending on the processed substrate, can be destroyed or
composted.
