Product Information
HydroGum Bio high quality, liquid gum arabic, comes from an organic plantation. Certified according to EU Directive 834/2007. It helps prevent heavy metal turbidity and crystal precipitation. Gum arabic (E 414) is a natural substance obtained from the dried sap of seyal
acacia. It acts as a protective colloid in wines, but it also improves the sense of taste and
wines seem fuller. As a liquid treatment material, it can be easily dosed and used without preparation. HydroGum
Bio filtered and stabilized with lactic acid. It does not contain SO2, so it has a neutral smell.
Authorized according to Commission Regulation 934/2019/EU. National regulations must be checked by the user. Tested for purity and
quality.

Dosing
Depending on the type of wine, the dosage amount can vary between 40 and 100 ml/100 l.
HydroGum Bio is added to the ready-treated wine, which is already intended for bottling, a few days before the last filtration or bottling. In the case of colloid
rich (with a large structure) wines, HydroGum Bio (which is also a colloid) can increase the
colloid content too much, which can cause problems during filtration, especially during final filtration with a membrane filter. It depends on
the temperature, the time of addition and the colloid content and structure of the wine.

Storage
It should be stored in a cool place (< 10 °C).
