Product Information
The KlarSol 30 transparent basic silicic acid sol for clarifying wine, fruit juice, fruit wine and other drinks. KlarSol 30 precipitates the
excess protein (protein-containing clarifying agents) and settles with the turbid substances.
The flaking occurs between the negatively charged KlarSol 30 silicic acid sol particles and the positively charged protein particles. The polyphenol content of drinks does not play a significant role in flaking.
Silica sol is a product in which agglomerates can form and thicken due to the high filling intensity. Therefore,
KlarSol 30 must be shaken or mixed before use.
It is authorized according to Commission Regulation 934/2019/EU. National regulations must be checked by the user. Checked for purity and
quality.
