Product information
VinProtect is a special product a mixture of potassium disulfite (50%), L(+)-ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and winemaking tannin. The product
provides comprehensive protection against oxidation and unwanted microbiological activity. VinProtect protects the aroma potential during
processing and preserves the freshness of the must. In addition, it reduces the need for sulfurization during winemaking. Potassium disulfite
and vitamin C (ascorbic acid) are proven wine treatment agents to prevent unwanted oxidation and microbiological activity
. The antioxidant effect of VinProtect is complemented by a highly pure tannin extracted from vegetable raw materials, which
due to its easy solubility, is excellent for mash and must. Special extraction processes ensure the high tannin
content and the high purity of tannin.
VinProtect enables the mash, must and wine to be effectively protected against oxidation and stabilizes the aroma and taste components. Well
chosen components guarantee a high antioxidant effect. By suppressing unwanted microbiological activity, the appearance of
wine defects (pickling, etc.) can also be reduced. By using VinProtect, a comprehensive protection of the must can be achieved
at the same time the SO2 intake can be reduced.
