Product description
The Erbslöh-PVPP is a cross-linked, insoluble polyvinyl-polypyrrolidone specially developed for wine treatment to remove
phenolic compounds and their oxidation products in wine.
▪ Removal of excessive amounts of polyphenols.
▪ Sensory harmonization.
▪ Lightening of deep-colored wines.
▪ Refreshing oxidized, aged wines, as well as sparkling base wines update
Product authorized under Commission (EU) 934/2019 EC regulation. During its use, the national
regulations must be taken into account. Product tested in a specialized laboratory for purity and quality.

Dosage
Intended use Dosage
normal, preventive treatment 10 - 40 g/100 L
treatment of oxidized, aged wines 30 - 70 g/100 L
treatment of highly oxidized wines up to 80 g/100 L
maximum permitted amount 80 g/100 L

If the maximum amount is not enough for highly oxidized and aged wines, additional treatments are recommended
with Granucol GE or Kal-Casin treatment agents. Due to the complex nature of the polyphenol groups in wine, the effect of Erbslöh-
PVPP can be increased by adding IsingClair-Hausenpaste (water bladder gel) or Gerbinol treatment agents. This means that
polyphenol binders with different effects ensure a gentler harmonization in smaller but combined dosages.
The application can be made directly into must and wine. The effectiveness of Erbslöh-PVPP increases in the swollen state,
so it is recommended to make a pulp that can be pumped with wine. Add while mixing. Erbslöh-PVPP approx. Add to the wine 2 hours
before the other treatment ingredients. If Erbslöh-PVPP is used, the wine can be filtered after just one day. For oxidized
wines, care must be taken to ensure the correct amount of free SO2.
