The Frila pea is a medium-ripening, special type of marrow pea, which has been bred for cold storage. Its bright green seeds age slowly, and because of their excellent taste, they are often frozen together with the pre-boiled juice. It has strong growth and grows reliably even on weak soil. Its medium-sized pods ripen at the same time, so they can be picked when they are open. An ideal choice for spring sowing.
