The Giant Sugar sugar pea is an early-ripening, bright green variety, the pods of which are 11-12 cm long and fiberless. Thanks to this, it can be consumed in a tender state, even with legumes. The plant grows strongly, so it is necessary to provide a support system or a net. It is ideal raw, steamed or boiled in salads or as a side dish.

Details

Giant Sugar 50g
Giant Sugar is a very early ripening sugar pea variety that stands out from the rest with its bright green color and excellent taste. The 11-12 cm long pods are completely fiberless, so they can be eaten in their tender state, even from pods, which makes them particularly popular in the kitchen. The plant has a strong growth potential and can grow up to 85 cm high, so it is recommended to use a support system, net or cordon during cultivation.

This versatile type of pea can be prepared in several ways: it is excellent for raw consumption, for example mixed into salads, but it can also be steamed or cooked as a tasty side dish. Moreover, it is also perfectly suitable for freezing, so we can enjoy its fresh taste even outside of the season.

Giant Sugar peas are an ideal choice for those who are looking for an early, abundant crop and a versatile raw material. The vigorous growth of the plant and the fiber-free pods make this variety a favorite of garden growers and home cooks.
