Detailed Description

Gigant Kohlrabi is one of the largest kohlrabi varieties that you can find in the Budapesti Kertimag range. This late maturing variety is an ideal choice for autumn crops as it develops to its full size during the longer growing season. Its fruit is buttery soft and its lack of tendency to become woody makes it particularly attractive to home gardeners and growers alike.

Gigant kohlrabi can be stored perfectly, so it retains its freshness and taste for a long time after harvesting. Under ideal growing conditions, the tubers grow huge, which ensures an outstanding yield. This seed belongs to Category 3 and is available in 1.5g packages, which provides enough for extensive cultivation.

Usage Tips

Gigant kohlrabi is great for a variety of kitchen uses, including steaming, baking, or use in salads. The rich taste and texture of the giant tubers gives every dish a special character.
